What Is Account Balance
Account Balance is the amount of money currently in your Topple account that has been funded but not yet allocated to active campaign spend. As your campaigns run, spend is drawn down from this balance. When the balance reaches zero, your campaigns pause until you add more funds.
Where to Find It
Your Account Balance is displayed prominently in the top panel of your Topple dashboard, visible immediately when you log in.
Adding Funds
To add funds to your balance, see How to Fund Your Account. Funds are typically available for campaign use immediately after a successful payment.
Common Mistakes
- 1Confusing Account Balance with your Ad Spend Plan subscription — these are two separate things. Account Balance is the pool of money your campaigns draw from as they serve impressions. Your Ad Spend Plan subscription is a separate recurring payment that determines your tier, bid floor, and feature access. Funding your Account Balance does not pay your subscription, and paying your subscription does not add funds to your balance.
- 2Assuming a zero balance means the account is closed — a zero Account Balance means your campaigns will pause (no funds to draw from), but your account remains open and your Ad Spend Plan subscription continues billing if you're on a paid tier. You need to add funds to resume delivery.
- 3Not setting up Auto Top-Up for always-on campaigns — if a campaign is intended to run continuously, a balance reaching zero will cause an unexpected delivery gap. Set up Auto Top-Up to avoid interruptions.
