Campaign & Creative Approval

Campaign and creative approval on Topple is immediate. Here’s how statuses work and what to do if a campaign is temporarily paused by Topple.

How Approval Works

Approval on Topple is immediate — there is no manual review queue. Once you submit a campaign and creative, it can begin serving right away. There is no rejection notice in the dashboard.

Campaign Statuses

Your Campaign Chart shows one of four statuses:

  1. 1Scheduled — the campaign's Start Date hasn't arrived yet. It will move to Running automatically once it does.
  2. 2Running — the campaign is live and eligible to serve. (Running does not always mean spending — see Why Isn't My Campaign Spending? if a Running campaign shows $0 cost.)
  3. 3Expired — the campaign's End Date has passed. It will not serve again unless you edit the dates or copy it into a new campaign.
  4. 4Paused — the campaign has been manually paused and will not serve until resumed.

Periodic Review & Temporary Pauses

Topple periodically scans campaigns and may receive automated detection alerts. If a campaign is flagged, Topple will pause it temporarily pending further review. In most cases, Topple will reach out to you directly. If your campaign is showing as Paused and you haven't heard from us, contact support.

TIP

A Topple-initiated pause uses the same Paused status as a manual pause. If you didn't pause it yourself and haven't received outreach from Topple, contact support — we can tell you exactly why it was paused and what to do next.

Questions About a Review or Decision

There is no rejection notice in the dashboard. If Topple has taken action on your campaign and you'd like more information, contact our team. We're happy to explain any review decision and work with you on next steps.

Common Mistakes

Looking for a 'Pending Review' or 'Rejected' status — neither exists in the current product. If a creative isn't serving, the cause is almost always a spec violation (see Ad Specifications) or a broken destination URL, not a review hold.
