Cancelling or Pausing Your Account
The difference between pausing a campaign, pausing all spend, and closing your account entirely.

To Pause a Single Campaign
Open it from your Campaign Chart and use the pause control. Spend stops immediately; the campaign is not deleted and can be resumed at any time. See Editing Campaigns for a full walkthrough of the campaign editor.
To Stop All Spend Without Closing Your Account
Pause every active campaign individually from the Campaign Chart. Note that pausing your campaigns stops ad spend but does not pause or cancel your Ad Spend Plan subscription — if you're on a paid tier with an active commitment, your subscription will continue to bill on schedule. See Managing Your Ad Spend Plan, or contact support if you need to change your plan while your campaigns are paused.
To Close Your Account Entirely
Account closure is not self-service — contact Topple support to initiate the process. Any outstanding balance must be settled in full before the account can be closed. Per our Terms of Use, Account Balance is non-refundable; unspent funds are not returned on closure.
Make sure all outstanding charges are resolved before requesting closure. Accounts with unpaid balances cannot be closed until the balance is cleared.
Troubleshooting
Campaigns still show as active after pausing? Refresh your Campaign Chart; if the status hasn't updated within a few minutes, contact support.
Common Mistakes
- 1Assuming pausing campaigns also stops subscription billing — this is the most common misunderstanding. Pausing every campaign stops ad spend immediately, but your Ad Spend Plan subscription continues billing on its normal schedule if you're on a paid tier with an active commitment. To stop subscription billing, contact support — it cannot be done from the campaign pause control alone.
- 2Forgetting Account Balance funds are non-refundable before requesting closure — per Topple's Terms of Use, your Account Balance is not returned upon account closure. If you have significant unspent balance, spend it down on campaigns before initiating closure, or contact support to understand your options.
