Why Aren’t My Ads Getting Impressions?

Identify targeting, bid, or inventory issues that are preventing your campaign from delivering impressions.

Last updated September 1, 2026

Problem

The campaign is active and funded, but the Impressions column in the Campaign Chart shows zero or very low numbers.

Likely Causes

  1. 1Creative doesn't meet Ad Specifications (format, dimensions, or file size) or has a broken destination URL.
  2. 2Maximum CPM is too low to win any auctions.
  3. 3Geo targeting excludes all or most available inventory.
  4. 4Interest and device targeting combination leaves too small an audience.
  5. 5Day-parting is active and the campaign is outside its active window.

How to Fix It

  1. 1
Compare the creative against Ad Specifications — format, dimensions, and file size — and confirm the destination URL loads correctly.
  2. 2
Raise the Maximum CPM — incrementally increase it to be more competitive in auctions.
  3. 3
Review geo targeting — expand to a larger region or full country.
  4. 4
Remove or reduce interest targeting — try Run-of-Network to confirm the issue is targeting-related.
  5. 5
Check day-parting — confirm the current time is within the campaign's active schedule.
